Joining as a Product Owner you will work alongside the Product Leadership team to define product vision & strategy, with responsibility for planning, managing and delivering across the dnata Travel brands. 

Role & Responsibilities include:
 

  • Responsible for creating high levels of customer engagement across different acquisition channels and stages of the customer journey or optimising and enhancing the back office platform, serving the needs of multiple brands, product types and markets. 
  • Interpret customer and company needs in a rapidly evolving market to steer a transparent and comprehensive product roadmap aligned to brand strategies and customer needs. 
  • Create, prioritise & manage the product roadmap and backlog ensuring you are delivering value to the business and a best in class customer experience. 
  • Lead the full product lifecycle across design, analysis, build and delivery ensuring product provides business value at speed. 
  • Work with brand stakeholders to define product priorities and regularly communicate product updates. 
  • Run regular planning & intake sessions with stakeholders at all levels in multiple locations. 
  • Be the voice of the customer by making customer problems the heartbeat of your product roadmap & backlog. 
  • Drive a strong test & learn culture and encourage fast failure & continuous improvement. 
  • Use data to drive a differential customer experience for multiple B2C brands. 
  • Work closely with the other members of your value stream to ensure you act and deliver as one cohesive team. 
  • Steer and challenge the Delivery, Business Analysis, Tech, UX, Marketing, Trading and Data Science teams to consciously think of the customer 
  • Support the submission of new ideas throughout the dnata business by running planning sessions and supporting the intake process. 
  • Live and breathe innovation and latest technology trends and identify opportunities to be the first to market with new ideas. 

Business process

  • Have vision of the business strategy with the product(s) they own 
  • Prioritise the requirements in line with the business strategy 
  • Gather all stakeholders requirements with said product or project they have been assigned too. 
  • Allow room for technical input vs business values, it takes two to deliver a successful product. 
  • Communicate sufficiently to DM’s/BA’s and Engineering managers if any change or update is needed from the original requirements that were given, especially if it is on a ‘Epic’ level. 
  • Create the structure of the project within JIRA, placeholder cards from a Epic and potentially story level. 
  • Liaise with relevant members from the delivery team to make sure all elements of the cards are signed off from themselves, this includes: 
  • Designs 
  • Any attachments e.g. technical flows/business flows 
  • Copy/content 
  • Aesthetics 
  • Other 
  • Attend certain agile meetings where applicable to fill the void of information or source requirements, making sure that any members does not bring confusion in. 
  • Assist the DM in preparation for the agile meetings making sure all cards are in the correct order, filled correctly and prioritised.
