Our client:

International company designs and builds Data science solutions blending next generation technologies and Machine learning. Headquarters are located in San Francisko, and the company has offices in New York, Singapore, Riga, Saint-Petersburg. 

 

Duties:

• Writing integration tests and driving test automation efforts;
• Creation of test plans and test reports;
• Execution of manual test cases;
• Issue tracking;
• Participation in both day-to-day software development workflows and release candidate testing.

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

• Solid knowledge of Linux;
• Experience with test tools, schedulers and frameworks;
• Ability to write tests in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, JavaScript, etc;
• Experience with Git and JIRA;
• Experience with SQL;
• Automation experience with BDD frameworks and tools (Cucumber, Behave and etc.).

 

Bonus Skills: 

• Experience and an understanding of one or more Big Data tools and technologies (hadoop, Spark);
• Experience with DB (MySQL, Vertica);
• Experience with Jenkins.

 

Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information System Management or related field.

 

Minimum Experience Requirements:

2+ years of software testing experience.
