Looking for an experienced Scala Software Developer with confidence and business savvy.
Responsibilities:
- Write code and test cases;
- Review code;
- Participate in team standups/group planning exercises.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field;
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience;
- Strong understanding of software design;
- Solid understanding of Scala;
- Experience with stream processing technologies (Apache Spark);
- Ability to use a distributed version control system;
- Strong understanding of operating systems (at least one Linux distribution);
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity;
- Ability to proactively identify engineering problems and coordinate resolution;
- Good interpersonal communication skills;
- Ready for a business trip to California for 6-12 months.
