We are looking for a talented IT Engineer who would support R&D office in St. Petersburg.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all IT related issues, including user support and server issues;
- Apply patches and updates to servers and user’s computers;
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on server/application’s configurations;
- Provide desktop/laptop, network, and phone system support;
- Monitor application performance, server performance, and network performance;
- Support projects associated with implementation of network and server applications.
Skills:
- Spoken English;
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience in a corporate IT environment;
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar;
- Extensive experience of supporting Windows and Linux clients;
- Hands-on experience of Linux server (Redhat, CentOS, and Ubuntu) and application administration;
- Proven ability to implement and manage Windows systems, including Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows server 2008 and 2012;
- Extensive Active Directory administration experience;
- Good working knowledge and experience with managing CIFS, NFS NIS, DNS, DHCP, and printer servers.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is a plus;
- LAN/WAN network experience is a plus.
